Western Sydney Wanderers FC have added striker Tahj Minniecon to their roster.
Minniecon, 23, becomes the club-s 13th signing in what will be the Wanderers inaugural season in the Hyundai A-League.
The former Australian U20 and U23 representative had come to the Wanderers on a trial basis and has impressed Coach Tony Popovic securing a one-year deal that will see him wear the red and black in season 2012/13.
Before his arrival in western Sydney, Minniecon spent the past three seasons (2009-12) as part of the Gold Coast United club and prior to that he was with the Brisbane Roar club for two seasons (2007-09).
Minniecon is delighted to have secured the move.
“I-m ecstatic, I-m glad I-m here and happy to keep working with the squad,” Minniecon said. “It-s a lot of weight off my shoulders with Tony showing confidence in me.
“I-m definitely looking to work extremely hard to get myself fit and ready and get back to playing the football I know I-m capable of.
“It-s a really professional club here, so it-s good to have these surroundings and be part of this environment,” he added.
