Sydney FC have agreed to terminate Hiro Moriyasu’s contract, with the Japanese midfielder desperate for regular first-team football.
Moriyasu has found his opportunities limited as Ian Crook rebuilds the Sky Blues’ squad, and club agreed to let the 27-year-old leave with one year left to run on his contract.
“Hiro-s attitude and work rate during his time at Sydney FC has been first class,” Crook said.
“Competition for places is now very high and unfortunately for Hiro it is unlikely we-ll be able to offer him the kind of regular first team football he needs.
Moriyasu played 36 times for Sydney FC in a two year period, scoring two goals.
