Westfield W-League 2018/19 Champions Sydney FC kick-start their title defence against last season’s Premiers, Melbourne Victory, on free-to-air TV.
ABC will be broadcasting the high-stakes, Round 1 Big Blue derby between two of the competition’s leading competitions at 4pm on Sunday, 17 November.

It’s all the more crucial that the Sky Blues get off to a strong start as trips to Adelaide United and Perth Glory follow in Rounds 2 and 3.
The first Sydney derby of the 2019/20 Season will be contested in Round 6 as Ante Juric’s side face Western Sydney Wanderers at Bankwest Stadium for the first time.
The Sky Blues host a double header in Round 12, as the women’s team face Adelaide United and the men’s team take on Melbourne City in the Hyundai A-League on Sunday, 29 December.
Sydney FC were quick to announce the core of their roster for the 2019/20 campaign, which includes returning Westfield Matildas Caitlin Foord, Alanna Kennedy and Chloe Logarzo.
United States imports Sofia Huerta and Aubrey Bledsoe are also once again among the Champions’ ranks as they seek to bring a fourth Westfield W-League Championship back to the Harbour City.
