Marc Janko has been ruled out of Sydney FC’s crucial clash with Wellington Phoenix today (Sun) with what is understood to be a minor niggle.
The loss is not only a blow to the Sky Blues’s chances of finishing in the top two, but it opens up the chance that Nathan Burns may catch the Austrian in the race for the Golden Boot.
The Phoenix striker is on 13 goals and Janko is on 16.
