Sydney FC and centre half Pascal Bosschaart have mutually agreed to a termination of the Dutchman-s contract.
The 33-year old has played 33 times for the Sky Blues, scoring one goal since joining the club in June 2011.
However a succession of injuries has limited the former Feyenoord defender to just six appearances in the past 19 months and both parties have agreed to part company.
“Pascal has been a model professional throughout his time with Sydney FC and is a firm favourite with the Members and fans,” said Head Coach Frank Farina.
“He has been unfortunate with injury during his time at the club but leaves with our blessing and the best wishes of coaches, players and staff.”
Sydney FC-s next game is against Western Sydney Wanderers at Allianz Stadium this Saturday night. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
