Sydney FC have reached 20,000 members for the first time in their history as the Sky Blues enjoy success on and off the field.
It is the second consecutive season Sydney have eclipsed their membership tally, growing again on the back of the momentum generated by the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the men’s team winning the Australia Cup a fortnight ago.

“To reach 20,000 members for the first time is a fantastic milestone for the club and it’s a great credit to our members who continue to support us,” said Sydney CEO Mark Aubrey.
“We are endlessly grateful for the incredible passion and loyalty of our Sydney FC community, and buying a membership is absolutely the best way to support the club.
“The new benchmark shows our commitment to capitalise on the momentum created by the FIFA Women’s World Cup, but we won’t want to stop there, and it’s important we continue to push those boundaries to engage our members and fans and provide them with great memories and experiences.
“We’ve already witnessed one cup win and a record crowd at Allianz Stadium this season, and I’m extremely excited for what else is in store.”

Sky Blues men’s captain Luke Brattan added: “Our members’ support helped us get across the line in the second half of the Australia Cup Final to win the trophy.
“We need them behind us every week as our success relies on their backing.
“To reach this landmark of 20,000 members is a phenomenal achievement for the club and we hope we see every single one of them starting this weekend against Melbourne Victory.”
