The fierce storms that have battered Brisbane for the past week have forced a change of venue for Saturday’s Queensland Roar v Melbourne Victory Westfield W-League match.

The match will now be played at Ballymore Stadium, which is where Queensland Roar recently set up its new administration base.

All other details pertaining to the game remain the same, with the match kicking off at 5.00pm AQST.

Meanwhile, in recognition of the work performed by the Queensland State Emergency Services (SES) over the past week, Queensland Roar will issue 250 free tickets for the December 14 game Hyundai A-League game against Newcastle Jets at Suncorp Stadium.

Queensland Roar coach Frank Farina, captain Craig Moore, midfielder Charlie Miller and goalkeeper Liam Reddy today visited Queensland-s State Emergency Services volunteers at Newmarket to acknowledge their outstanding work across much of the south-east of Queensland in the past week and hand over the free tickets.
