Auckland FC head coach Steve Corica has been named January/February Coach of the Month in the Isuzu UTE A-League after a fan vote.

It’s Corica’s fourth-straight win of the season, after taking out the first three monthly awards in the 2024-25 campaign.

Corica’s nomination came alongside Western United head coach John Aloisi, Melbourne Victory’s Arthur Diles and Newcastle Jets boss Rob Stanton. He earned the most votes of any of the four nominated coaches to take out the January/February award.

Corica was nominated for the January/February award via Football Coaches Australia’s monthly nomination process.

Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with FCA in 2022-23 to give fans a crucial say in recognising outstanding coaching performances across both the Ninja A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men.

The FCA assembled an experienced panel that decide the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month in both leagues together; a fan vote then decided the winner from the monthly nominees.

The January/February eligibility period included Rounds 16-20 of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, with results between January 24 and February 23 considered by the FCA Panel when voting for the Coach of the Month nominees.

Corica oversaw four games in the eligibility period, winning all four games against Wellington Phoenix, Western United, Macarthur Bulls and Western Sydney Wanderers.
