It’s a new season and new jersey for Sydney FC, as the Sky Blues officially unveiled their PUMA Football alternate third kit for the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season on Wednesday.
A simplistic yet premium design, the alternate third kit features a black iris base complemented by a sky blue collar and sleeve cuffs. The shorts are black iris with a block sky blue stripe running down both sides, and the socks feature a similar black iris base with sky blue accents.
Sydney FC 2015/16 Player of the Year Matthew Jurman said he was impressed with the new look alternate kit.
“I think the kit is really nice, it looks good and feels good on,” Jurman said.
“All our jerseys are impressive but this is a new one for this year and I’m really looking forward to wearing it and taking to the field in it.”
The alternate third kit joins the sky blue home kit and white away kit in the Sky Blues’ dressing room, already present from season 2015/16.
The new alternate third kit is available now for purchase in-store and online, while customised alternate third kits are available for pre-order now and will be delivered in 2-3 weeks.
