The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) have met on Monday to consider an incident involving Sydney FC striker Matt Simon against Melbourne City.
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson, and Alan Contini – convened today to consider an incident from Round 10 of the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season.
The incident involved Matt Simon (Sydney FC) which arose in or around the 82nd minute of Sydney FC’s match against Melbourne City FC on Friday, 9 December 2016.
The Player has been cited for the incident and a show cause notice has been issued (Notice).
The Player has until 1:00pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, 13 December 2016 to make submissions in response to the Notice.
The MRP will reconvene tomorrow afternoon to consider the Citation Incident and any submissions filed by the Player.
