Western United have signed exciting winger Valentino Yuel from NPL Victoria outfit Bentleigh Greens.
The 24-year-old joins the Hyundai A-League’s newest club for their maiden campaign after an impressive stint with the Victorian giants, for whom he signed in November 2018.
Formerly of Adelaide City, Yuel follows in the footsteps of Melbourne Victory attacker Elvis Kamsoba in making the transition from South Australia to the NPL Victoria, and now on to the Hyundai A-League.

In doing so, Yuel re-unites with former Bentleigh coach, now Western United assistant coach, John Anastasiadis.
National Premier Leagues talent like Brisbane Roar’s Dylan Wenzel-Halls and Central Coast Mariners’ Matt Millar have thrived on the step up to the Hyundai A-League this season.
Western United assistant coach John Hutchinson says Yuel could be the next from the NPL to taste success at the higher level.

“My colleague John Anastasiadis has a great team in the NPL and I have been attending many games looking for talent from NPL that could make the step up to A-League,” Hutchinson said.
“Young Valentino is an eye-catcher so our coaching department was unanimous in wanting to sign him up for Western United’s first-team squad.
“Fans will be drawn to the fast runs Valentino makes from wide positions and his quality delivery into the box.”
