One of Western Sydney Wanderers’ longest-serving players Erica Halloway is back in Red and Black for the Westfield W-League 2019/20 Season.
The 35-year-old inked a one-year deal with Dean Heffernan’s side on Tuesday, just over a week out from the first game of the new campaign.
“This season we’ve got a fairly new team we’ve got a few people that have been there for a few years, but relatively new, new coaching staff and we’ve got the new stadium to look forward to which I haven’t been to yet but I’ve heard it’s amazing and I can’t wait to play there, it’s going to be unreal,” Halloway told the Wanderers’ official website.
“Our first home game is at Marconi, last year we played Adelaide and got a win against theme so we’re looking forward to doing that again this year.
“We don’t know who exactly they’ve got but it doesn’t really matter, we’re going to be ready, we’re in pre-season everyone is fit and raring to go.
“I’m pumped for the season, I can’t wait.”
