Western Sydney Wanderers boss Markus Babbel has added Championship-winning experience to his defence by capturing Australia international defender Dylan McGowan.
McGowan, 27, has signed a three-year deal for the Wanderers after departing Danish Superliga club Vendsyssel.
The defender is a Premiership and Championship double winner with Adelaide United in 2015/16, and won the inaugural FFA Cup with his home-city club in 2014.

His last game in the Hyundai A-League for the Reds came against the Wanderers in April 2017.
The Heart of Midlothian junior has since been plying his trade for Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira and K-League outfit Gangwon, before linking up with Vendsyssel in January.
“I’m delighted to be joining the Wanderers,” McGowan told the club website. “It’s a really exciting time for the club with things like moving into the new stadium and the team the coach (Markus Babbel) is building.”
“I’m looking forward to being a part of that and bringing success to the club.
“Coming back to Australia is the right decision for myself and my family. I have been successful here before and want to be again at the Wanderers.”
McGowan made his Caltex Socceroos debut in a 4-0 defeat to Brazil in June 2017.
