Brisbane Roar have confirmed the signings of gifted youngsters Charles Lokoli-Ngoy and Ruon Tongyik for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season.
Lokoli-Ngoy joins Roar after he was released by Premiers Sydney FC last month.
The 21-year-old attacker made 13 appearances for the Sky Blues in the Hyundai A-League, while he was also a key part of the club’s Foxtel Y-League and National Premier Leagues sides.

Meanwhile, Tongyik joins his fourth Hyundai A-League club after previous stints at Adelaide United, Melbourne City and – more recently – Western Sydney Wanderers.
The Australian under-23 international also departed the Wanderers last month and will bolster Darren Davies’ options in defence.
“Brisbane Roar has a great history and is one of the biggest clubs in Australia. I want to help the team, score goals, and I’m really looking forward to the challenge,” Lokoli-Ngoy said.
Tongyik added: “I’m very excited to have signed for the Roar. I am here to create depth in our squad and I can’t wait to get out onto Suncorp Stadium and play in front of our fans.”
Roar’s interim boss Davies is delighted to add two young, exciting, and talented footballers to his Roar squad.
“I’m confident that they will not only add competition for places in our squad, but make a positive contribution to our team over the coming weeks and months,” he said.
“They are both young talented Australian footballers who have the ability to excite our supporters and fans.”
The duo could immediately come into the Roar squad for Friday night’s clash against Sydney FC at Suncorp Stadium.
