Nikola Mileusnic has signed a two-year contract extension with Adelaide United, the club confirmed today.
The Adelaide-born attacker, 25, has pledged his future to the Reds until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2020/21 campaign.
Having initially struggled to nail down a regular position following his 2016 signature, Mileusnic – a former White City, Western Strikers and West Torrens Birkalla youth – has established himself as a key first-teamer for Marco Kurz’s side this season.
He has scored four goals and provided three assists for the Reds, and famously scored a stoppage-time winner against Brisbane Roar in February’s 4-3 win as Adelaide became the first Hyundai A-League team to win a game in normal time after being three goals down.

“I’m very excited to be extending my contract here at Adelaide United,” Mileusnić told the club’s official website. “This club gave me my opportunity in the A-League and it makes me proud to represent my hometown team.
“Playing in front of my family and friends each week is a dream come true for me, and knowing I’ll have the opportunity to continue doing that for another two seasons makes me very happy.
“There’s still a lot to play for this year and we’re all doing our best to bring more success to this great club.”
