Brisbane Roar have signed young prospects Mirza Muratovic, Izaack Powell & Kai Trewin on scholarship deals which extend into the 2020/21 Hyundai A-League season.
The trio have risen through the ranks at the Roar with both Muratovic, 20, and Powell, 17, beginning to feature more regularly for the senior side.
Muratovic puts pen to paper after recently making his Hyundai A-League debut off the back of his impressive form in the Foxtel Y-League.
The striker has one assist to his name from his four appearances for the senior side this season.

17-year-old Powell, meanwhile, became Brisbane’s youngest-ever player when he made his debut at 16 years, 361 days in 2019.
Powell joins Muratovic and 18-year-old Trewin – who is yet to make his Hyundai A-League debut – in extending their stays at the club beyond this season.
Powell says he’s delighted with the opportunity to continue his development at the Roar.
“Brisbane Roar is my hometown club,” Powell told brisbaneroar.com.au.
“I made my A-League debut here & it’s great to be on board for another season.”
Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre says providing young players a pathway to the senior side is important to the club.
“Developing young talent & giving these players opportunities is a core facet of what Brisbane Roar is about,” Pourre said.
“Mirza, Izaack & Kai have all earned this opportunity and we’re looking forward to seeing them progress and develop here at Brisbane Roar.”
