Central Coast Mariners have added some Korean flair to their midfield with the addition of Kim Eun-sun to their squad.
The 31-year-old midfielder has agreed to a one-year deal with the Hyundai A-League club after impressing in a trial period in Gosford.

He joins the Mariners after playing the entirety of his career in the K-League, most notably with Suwon Bluewings.
“It has been a real pleasure to meet everyone at the Central Coast Mariners and I feel honoured to have signed,” Kim said on the Mariners’ official website.
“I am thrilled to be here for such a tough pre-season and I can’t wait to show the fans what I can bring to the team.

Kim is a classy box-to-box midfielder, who will play a pivotal role in the Mariners’ quest to move up the Hyundai A-League ladder in the 2019/20 Season.
With experience playing in the AFC Champions League as well, Mariners boss Alen Stajcic believes the club have a player of immense quality.
“To attract a player of Kim’s calibre who captained Suwon Bluewings, one of the biggest teams in Korea, is a tremendous boost for the Mariners and the league,” Stajcic said.
“His technical skills combined with his experience will be of great benefit in the development of our players and particularly our younger players coming through the ranks.

“Since arriving at the start of pre-season, Kim has been a real asset amongst the squad, both on and off the pitch and has set a very high standard.”
Kim is the second key signing in as many days for the Mariners, after snaring experienced keeper Mark Birighitti on Thursday.
Kim also becomes the Hyundai A-League’s second Korean signing this week after Perth Glory announced defender Soo-beom Kim had joined the club.
