A versatile defender who is comfortable operating on the left or right hand side of defence – or as a wide midfielder – is relishing the change to play overseas for the first time.
He will wear the No. 12 jersey for Perth, and becomes the club’s first ever Korean signing.
“Perth Glory had a great season last year and I heard many good things about the coach, the players and the city as well,” he told the club’s official website.
“I can already feel that there is a very bright and positive atmosphere within the squad and a winning mentality.
“I am really looking forward to being a part of this squad this year.”

Perth Football Director Jacob Burns added that Kim’s experience and versatility across the pitch make him an ideal fit for the WA club.
“Kim has a proven track record for performing consistently well in the K-League which is among the very best competitions in Asia in terms of its overall standard,” he said.
“He is genuinely two-footed, a reliable and disciplined defender and a player who also provides a genuine attacking threat with his delivery from wide areas.”
