American youth international Abby Smith has signed for Western Sydney Wanderers.
Smith, 26, has joined the Red and Black from National Women’s Soccer League outfit Utah Royals.

It is the first time the goalkeeper, who was born in Portland and represented her country at U17, U20 and U23 levels, will play outside of the US.
Smith started her NWSL career in 2016 with Boston Breakers but joined Utah Royals following the club’s dissolution.
Although she spent 2019 behind Nicole Barnhart in the pecking order, Smith featured 17 times in 2018 as Utah recorded the league’s second-best defensive record.
