Brisbane Roar is set to make a major announcement on Wednesday, September 19 as part of an internal pre-season clash at the club’s new City of Logan Training Facility.
Roar confirmed the “pre-season hit-out – with a twist” on Monday, with the match to feature two teams made up of Roar squad members to be captained and selected by fullback Jack Hingert and French winger Eric Bautheac.

Hingert has already ramped-up the banter with his teammate – who he is likely to mark on the night – on Twitter.

But Roar have teased fans by revealing the highlight of the night will be a “MAJOR club announcement”.
John Aloisi’s squad is gearing up nicely towards the start of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season, opening their campaign at home against the Central Coast Mariners.
