Gold Coast United midfielder Jonas Salley faces a two-match suspension after the Hyundai A-League Match Review Panel found him guilty of serious foul play.

After reviewing Salley’s challenge on Sydney FC youngster Dimitri Petratos during Sunday’s scoreless draw at Skilled Park, the MRP concluded the United enforcer’s tackle was bad enough to deserve a two-game ban.

Gold Coast have until midday Wednesday to either accept the sanction or appeal to the FFA Disciplinary Committee.
