Sydney FC seek to extend their perfect start when they face local rivals Western Sydney Wanderers as the second part of a Westfield W-League/A-League double header at Stadium Australia on Saturday.
Ante Juric’s side have started the 2020/21 campaign with back-to-back wins in their quest for a first Premiership title in 10 years, starting with three points against their neighbours in Round 1.
Ex-Wanderer Cortnee Vine scored against her former club and Princess Ibini hit a stunning double in the 3-0 triumph as Sydney dominated the Red and Black at Bankwest Stadium.
The Sky Blues followed that up with a 2-1 win against the Newcastle Jets last week, while Dean Heffernan’s Wanderers responded to their opening round loss also with a 2-1 victory against the Hunter side in Round 2.
