Round 28 Ins & Outs: Son of a legend selected ahead of potential A-Leagues debut

‘You’re talking MILLIONS’ - Prolific Aussie star set for huge transfer fee? | Total A-Leagues Ep 25

The teams are in ahead of the penultimate round of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Perth Glory travel to New Zealand this weekend ahead of games against Auckland FC and Wellington Phoenix to round out the regular season, and head coach David Zdrilic has confirmed Sebastian Despotovski, son of Glory great Bobby, will be on the plane as his side head across the ditch.

Bobby Despotovski scored more than 100 goals for Glory between 1996 and 2007 and now his son Sebastian has earned a spot in Zdrilic’s first-team squad having lit up the NPL in recent weeks.

Despotovski comes into the Glory squad off the back of scoring four goals in 53 minutes against Perth RedStar on Saturday afternoon.
