Mike Mulvey’s former assistant has lashed out at Brisbane Roar FC’s director of football following the Hyundai A-League champions’ 1-0 win away to Western Sydney on Wednesday.
The Roar recorded their first victory under interim coach Frans Thijssen at Pirtek Stadium courtesy of Henrique’s early penalty and an organised, determined performance.
That second win of the season didn’t impress Ron Smith though.
The veteran coach, who followed Mulvey out the Suncorp Stadium door after the sacking of the title-winning boss last month, used social media to take aim at Stead, head of the football department at Brisbane.
