Adelaide United might be sixth on the Hyundai A-League ladder but they’re clearly number one in the eyes of Serie A side Roma.
The pair have struck up a warm relationship on social media in recent times and their friendship was cemented with the Giallorossi giving the South Australians a special shoutout.
Roma named the Reds their ‘Twitter Team of the Day’, an accolade bestowed upon clubs from across the footballing world.

Brisbane Roar, Central Coast Mariners, Wellington Phoenix and even Reading-based Caversham United were all in the mood trading Twitter likes and follows.
