Former Sydney FC assistant Rado Vidosic says he has no ill-feeling towards his former club but insists he is focused on helping Brisbane Roar take down the Sky Blues on Sunday afternoon.
Vidosic has returned to Roar as an assistant to Frans Thijssen after departing Sydney FC in December and believes his inside knowledge can prove decisive against Graham Arnold’s side.
“Of course there are secrets (about Sydney) that I know,” Vidosic told the Courier Mail.
“I’ve got a lot of knowledge about the players and I’ve got a lot of knowledge about the way Arnie thinks. We’ll see who out smarts the other.”

Vidosic joined Sydney FC as an assistant to Frank Farina in June 2013 but the former Socceroos boss was sacked less than a year later, with Arnold appointed as his replacement.
Though Vidosic departed the club to return to Queensland, he remains philosophical about his relationship with Arnold.
“That’s the way the cookie crumbles and sometimes things happen for a reason,” Vidosic said.
“There was no tension between me and Arnie . This game is just another game.”
Sixth-placed Roar are just one point ahead of Melbourne City FC and Vidosic admitted it was paramount the defending champions continued to pick up points as they vie for a finals berth.
“We are playing reasonably good football and the most important thing at the moment is we are getting very good results.
“That’s the key because we were quite a few points behind the top five teams, and to catch up with some of them we need to keep getting the three points.”
