Brisbane Roar-s NYL team have been deducted three points following a breach of player eligibility rules in their Round 6 match against Central Coast Mariners.
During the Round 6 fixture played on Saturday 24 November 2012, Brisbane Roar was found to have selected three overage and two foreign players from its Hyundai A-League squad. The result of the Match was recorded as a 1-0 victory to Brisbane Roar.
In accordance with the NYL Player Eligibility rules FFA has awarded Central Coast Mariners a 3-0 victory in respect of the Match. The NYL Competition Ladder has been adjusted as follows:
– Brisbane Roar deducted three (3) points from the NYL Competition Ladder;
– Central Coast Mariners awarded three (3) points on the NYL Competition Ladder; and
– Both clubs goal difference adjusted accordingly.
