Roar to play friendly against Chinese youngsters

Brisbane Roar will continue preparations for the new Hyundai A-League season with a friendly against the Chinese U-22 national team next week.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

*The Chinese youngsters are on the Gold Coast for 11 days for a training camp.

*The match will be played at Cbus Super Stadium on Monday, August 28 at 7.30pm, with members admitted free of charge.

*The clash against Roar is one of three the visitors will play against Australian opposition during their time Down Under.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR ROAR?

*Roar will unveil their new playing kit for the 2017/18 Season on August 30 at a special launch at the Rebel Sport Queen Street Mall store.

*John Aloisi’s side will also take on Melbourne Victory – the side which knocked them out of the Westfield FFA Cup earlier this month – in a friendly in Ballarat on Friday, September 1.

*Roar open their Hyundai A-League campaign with a Friday night blockbuster against Melbourne City on October 6.
