Brisbane Roar have confirmed the club will pay tribute to former player Liam Miller during Saturday’s Hyundai A-League clash with Newcastle Jets.
Miller sadly passed away earlier this month after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 36.
The Roar are encouraging fans to stand for a minute’s applause in the 11th minute in memory of the Irishman.
Miller wore number 11 during his time with the club.

The Republic of Ireland international played three seasons in the A-League with Perth Glory, Brisbane Roar and briefly with Melbourne City between 2011-2014.
But it was with Roar which the midfielder enjoyed the most success, playing a key role as Mike Mulvey’s side claimed a Premiership-Championship double in his only season with the club.
In 24 appearances for Roar, Miller scored three goals and struck up a great partnership with the likes of Thomas Broich and Besart Berisha.
