Adelaide United and Sydney FC meet today (Thursday) for a training game in the Harbour City with the Reds using it to assess a replacement for injured Marcelo Carrusca.
According to reports, the Reds will use today’s game to assess Danny Choi, 22, one of the biggest talents outside the Hyundai A-League.
Blacktown City’s FFA Cup hero is believed to be close to joining the club with today’s game an audition for the winger who lit up the FFA Cup this year.

The Korean-born attacker is being looked at as a potential injury replacement for 33-year-old Argentine star Carrusca, who has a foot injury.
With the season kicking off next week, both sides will be using the game as a chance to fine-tune preparations.
The Sky Blues have a blockbuster Sydney Derby on October 8 and a day later Adelaide head to the Hunter for a clash with the improving Jets.
Adelaide’s Grand Final hero Isaias told www.a-league.com.au that the league is on the up.

And the Reds could give new signing James Holland a run in Sydney today.
