Goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne will make the move from Central Coast to Brisbane next Hyundai A-League season after agreeing to a deal with the Roar.

Redmayne has been unable to get regular first-team football at the Mariners with Danny Vukovic in top form, so he has decided to depart his local club after this season.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper has played just three matches, one of those as a substitute, since joining the club prior to the 2007 Pre-Season Cup tournament.

“I was excited by the new challenge of a new place, but also the opportunity to play first team football,” Redmayne said.

“I’m a Coast boy and I’d like to thank everyone at the club for giving me an opportunity, but I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone,” Redmayne said.
