The Wanderers will be desperate to bounce back after their heartbreak against Cruz Azul when they face the African champions on Thursday morning in their final game at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Western Sydney Wanderers FC will be playing for pride and hoping to rediscover some form for the Hyundai A-League when they take on African champions ES Setif at the FIFA Club World Cup on Thursday morning (AEDT).
The two sides meet in the play-off for fifth spot and won’t want to finish the competition as the only team to lose both of their matches at the tournament.
After a heart-breaking quarter-final loss to Cruz Azul on Sunday, Wanderers boss Tony Popovic has a big job on his hands to not only lift the spirit of his squad but also freshen them up after a gruelLing 120 minutes in Rabat.
The AFC champions League winners were just a couple of minutes away from a dream tie against Real Madrid before a dramatic twist which saw them eventually lose with just nine men in extra-time.
It will be interesting to see how the Wanderers respond to that and if they can put aside their disappointment and anger surrounding the manner of the defeat played in near monsoonal conditions and a water-logged pitch.
Popovic will have to re-jig his defence with the likes of Daniel Mullen, Antony Golec and Daniel Alessi all in contention for a start to cover the absence of Socceroos pair.      Â
Striker Tomi Juric could also come in after starting on the bench against Cruz Azul, while Jason Trifiro, Kearyn Baccus, Jaushua Sotirio and Vitor Saba are options if there are a few tired bodies among the group.
It will be a similar story for ES Setif, who were shock 1-0 losers to part-timers Auckland City in their quarter-final.
The side knows an Les Aigles Noirs had serious designs on a minimum semi-final berth and will want to salvage some pride as the first Algerian side to take part in the competition.
