Australia-s hottest electronic dance duo, The Presets, have been confirmed as the official entertainment act at the Hyundai A-League 2009 Grand Final.

The grand final, to be held at Melbourne-s Telstra Dome on Saturday February 28, will see Australia-s top two teams, Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United play-off to be crowned the Hyundai A-League 2009 Champions.

The Presets will perform three songs prior to the game-s scheduled 7.30pm kick-off, including the crowd-uniting track and Hyundai A-League anthem ‘My People’.

The Presets performance at the Hyundai A-League 2009 Grand Final begins what is set to be another whirlwind year for the group. Since storming onto the scene in 2005 with their debut album Beams, The Presets have become an unstoppable force in both the Australian and international dance music scene.

Their second album, Apocalypso, was a commercial and critical success, achieving well over double platinum sales and reaching the number one spot on the ARIA charts. Apocalypso also won the 2008 ARIA Awards for “Best Dance Release” and “Album of the Year”.

With crowds of over 40,000 expected to attend Saturday night-s final, The Presets pre-match performance will set the stage for what promises to be an action packed night at the Telstra Dome, with football-s cheerleader-in-chief, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd also anticipated to attend.
