“We’ve been back a couple of weeks now working to implement what we did on the pitch, I think it’s been good today,” Fowler said.
“It was a good performance, a few little things to work on but I think the general play today was fantastic. I’m delighted with how the lads went.
“Everyone knows how good and how special this club can be, to turn out in our training venue and get 2,000 people here to come and watch us, I think that’s first class.”

Majok makes a fine first impression
Head coach Alen Stajcic watched his Central Coast side rally either side of the interval to down FFA Cup Round of 32 contestants Manly United 4-1 at Pluim Park.
After Brendan Cholakian had given the team from Sydney’s Northern Beaches a 10th-minute lead, Matt Simon levelled on 42 minutes and Giancarlo Gallifuoco made it 2-1 soon after.
Former Western Sydney Wanderer Abraham Majok pulled on a Mariners jersey for the first time and struck twice in quick succession to wrap up a resounding victory.
