Perth Glory have confirmed defender Jacob Poscoliero has left the club with immediate affect after the termination of his contract was mutually agreed.
Joining the club from fellow Hyundai A-League outfit Central Coast Mariners at the start of the 2017/18 Season, Poscoliero made eight appearances for Glory including six starts.
But with the club signing Dino Djulbic in the January transfer window, regular opportunities looked to be diminishing for the 27-year-old.
It’s unclear at this stage what the future holds for the former Mariners centre-back.
Posoliero has spent a large portion of his professional career plying his trade in the Italian lower tier with Veneto-based side San Dona and Serie C outfit Bassano Virtus between 2010-2013.
He returned home to New South Wales to play with PS4 NSW NPL side Blacktown City, where he made 35 appearances in a standout season that saw the club claim 2014 NPL title and Waratah Cup.
His impressive form for Blacktown earned the Wollongong-born player a deal at the Mariners, where he played 47 times.
