Sydney United 58 FC has booked its place in the last 32 of the Westfield FFA Cup field thanks to a last gasp 1-0 win over Parramatta FC at the Sydney United Sports Centre.

Sydney United 58 FC has booked its place in the last 32 of the Westfield FFA Cup field thanks to a last gasp 1-0 win over Parramatta FC at the Sydney United Sports Centre.

It took a Mirjan Pavlovic penalty in the first minute of stoppage time to break the deadlock and eventually separate the teams as United Coach Mark Rudan and his men move into the Draw for the Round of 32.

Just when the contest appeared destined to be heading for extra time, Alec Urosevski was brought down in the penalty area and Pavlovic coolly slotted home the spot kick to ultimately determine the dramatic encounter.

Despite the loss, it is not all doom and gloom for Parramatta, who still have another opportunity to qualify for the Westfield FFA Cup when they face the loser of tonight-s play-off between Hakoah Sydney City FC and Northern Tigers.

Hakoah Sydney City and the Northern Tigers will meet at Hensley Athletic Field with kick-off at 7.30pm.
