Outcome of Independent MRP: Round 21

The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini – convened on Monday, 26 February 2018 to consider an incident involving Dzengis Cavusevic (Cavusevic) of Adelaide United in or around the 55th minute of Adelaide United’s Round 21 Match against Melbourne Victory on Saturday, 24 February 2018.

The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as Cavusevic was issued with a direct Red Card by the Referee.

The MRP determined that Cavusevic had committed the offence of serious unsporting conduct. The MRP has confirmed that Cavusevic will serve a suspension of one (1) match, being the minimum sanction for the offence.
