We saw some stunning goals over the first month of the Hyundai A-League and thanks to the fans we’ve got the best goal from October.
With an impressive 41.3% of the vote, Wellington Phoenix’s Roy Krishna has taking out the prize for his powerful drive in the 3-3 draw with Brisbane Roar in Round 4.
Picking up the ball in space on the right flank, the flying Fijian drove towards goal before unleashing a thunderbolt from 30 metres which arrowed into the top corner and gave Michael Theo no chance.
Krishna’s goal just edged out Newcastle playmaker Dimitri Petratos, for his long-range cracker also against Brisbane Roar in Round 3.
Petratos’ howitzer was the winner in the Jets’ 2-1 victory at Suncorp Stadium and had 38.2% of the vote.
Central Coast Mariners star Daniel De Silva (Round 2 against Wanderers) was third with 11.5%, while Petratos’ opening round stunner in the F3 Derby picked up 9%.
