Adelaide United hero, Nairobi-born Mark Ochieng, was shocked to find himself on the edge of the box before his ice-cool debut goal handed the Reds a memorable 2-1 win over Melbourne City at a rocking Coopers last night.
Ochieng, 20, was the recipient of a classic counter-attack as City pushed forward for the winner with the score at 1-1.
And he took the chance with all the coolness of a seasoned striker as he was put through on goal before smashing a superb 87th minute finish to give the struggling Reds a shock win at a buzzing Coopers Stadium.

It was a huge way to kick off Round 15, with the win reigniting United’s season.
The reigning Hyundai A-League champions are even off the bottom of the table, albeit temporarily ahead of the Mariners’ match in Wellington on Saturday.
Ochieng was left almost speechless after his brilliantly taken debut goal for the Reds.
“I don’t know, the ball was just in front of me and I was just happy to get on it.
“My first touch was good and after that the finish just came out of nowhere,” the ecstatic Red told Fox Sports.
“But I’ll take it. I’ll take it… it’s an unbelievable experience playing in front of the fans and I was happy to get a few minutes and I was happy with the goal.”
