Perth Glory have confirmed playmaker Mitch Nichols and defender Marc Warren have left the Hyundai A-League club.
It’s understood Nichols has been released by Glory for family reasons, while Warren has been allowed to depart to explore opportunities elsewhere.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Mitch and Marc for their services to the club and wish them all the very best in their future endeavours,” said Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos.
Neither Nichols or Warren have been able to establish themselves consistently in Kenny Lowe’s starting side during the 2017/18 Season.
Nichols, 28, has made 13 appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
This is his second spell in the west, and in total he has played 27 times for Glory.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old defender Warren made a total of 37 appearances for the club after arriving in 2015.
He has made just two appearances in the Hyundai A-League this season, playing a total of 70 minutes.
Glory host Melbourne City at nib Stadium on Saturday night in a must-win Round 21 clash to keep their Hyundai A-League Finals Series hopes alive.
