Price previously represented Sydney FC across four seasons between 2013/14 and 2016/17, and returns to the club following spells with Western Sydney Wanderers and Canberra United.
The midfielder has made more than 100 appearances in the national competition and represented Australia at Under-20 level, including captaining the Young Matildas.
Price adds experience and depth to Head Coach James Slaveski’s squad following the departure of Kirsty Fenton.
“Liv is an experienced and intelligent footballer who understands the league extremely well,” Slaveski said.
“She brings a real professionalism to the group, as well as quality on the ball and a willingness to do the hard work for the team.
“Her previous time at Sydney FC means she understands what this Club represents, and we’re excited to welcome her back into the Sky Blue family.

“She will add valuable experience to our squad and we believe she can make a strong contribution both on and off the field this season.”
Price said she was excited to return to the club where her professional journey began.
“Sydney FC has always been a special Club to me, so I’m really proud to be coming back,” she said.
“I have great memories from my first time here and I’m looking forward to getting to know the group, working with James and helping the team have a successful season.
“There is a lot of quality in this squad and I’m excited by the ambition of the Club. I can’t wait to pull on the Sky Blue shirt again and get started.”
Price is expected to be available for Sydney FC’s Ninja A-League season opener against Adelaide United at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre on Sunday.
The Sky Blues have also signed Josie Wilson and Poppy Tay on short-term contracts, while Lauren Nada, Chelsea McCredie and Asha Sutton have been promoted from the club’s Female Development Squad.
The signings and promotions will help cover the absence of seven players currently representing the Junior Matildas at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
