Newcastle Jets begin their quest to return to the Westfield W-League Finals series with a home encounter against Melbourne City in Round 1.
A familiar face returns in the 2019/20 campaign opener at No.2 Sportsground with Novocastrian Emily van Egmond in line for her City debut after six seasons in the Hunter.

Craig Deans’ side may have finished seventh in the 2018/19 ladder but they missed out on the top four by only four points in a closely-fought race for the post-season.
The Jets will be keen to address that with a strong start as they hit the road to face Western Sydney Wanderers on Thursday Night Football in Round 2.
Canberra United are the first visitors to McDonald Jones on Saturday, 30 November in Round 3, while Rounds 4 and 5 see tough encounters with last season’s Grand Finalists, Perth Glory (away) and Sydney FC (home).
Newcastle host a trio of double headers in Rounds 8, 10 and 14. Canberra United, Sydney FC and Adelaide United are the Westfield W-League visitors, while Western Sydney, Melbourne City and Sydney FC are the Hyundai A-League teams in town.
