Relive: Sydney clinch epic Big Blue, Jets take down Wanderers

It was another ‘Super Saturday’ in the Hyundai A-League with two incredible matches that delivered sensational goals, late drama and plenty of thrills and spills.

Newcastle Jets showed they aren’t going to give up on a top-six berth without a serious fight, coming from behind to beat Western Sydney Wanderers 3-2 at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Youngster Angus Thurgate was the hero for the Hunter club, coming off the bench to score his first Hyundai A-League goal which was the winner.

Sydney FC then stayed alive in their quest for a third straight Premiership with a last-gasp 2-1 win over Melbourne Victory in another scintillating Big Blue.
