Newcastle Jets have announced the re-signing of goalkeeper Ally Boertje for the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
A Newcastle local, Ally first signed for the Jets ahead of the 2024-25 season, having previously tuned out for New Lambton and Warners Bay in the NNSW NPL.
Ally also featured heavily for the Youth Team in the 2025 NSW NPL, making 14 appearances.

Boertje is excited to be back with her hometown club.

“I’m very honoured to be a part of this club again, I loved every moment of the last season,” she said.
“With the Newcastle Jets being my home club, I am very excited to see what the team will bring to the table this season.”
Jets head coach Stephen Hoyle added: “We are extremely happy to have Ally back with us for the upcoming season.
“She’s a great character and a talented young goalkeeper. I believe that working with (Claire) Coelho and Anna (Leat) day in day out will help her make huge strides over the course of the season.”
