Ninja A-League talents were at the heart of the triumph, which saw New Zealand score 33 goals without conceding a goal en route to another title after Emily Lyon bagged a brace, with Zoe Benson also on target.

Already assured of a spot at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup by qualifying for this weekend’s final, Wellington Phoenix’s Lily Brazendale was in the starting XI along with Alyssha Eglington and Grace Bartlett.

The Phoenix are set to begin their Ninja A-League 2025-26 season against Canberra United on November 8.
