Season 5 of the Hyundai A-League has the makings of being the best yet with the inclusion of two new teams Gold Coast United and North Queensland Fury to the existing eight teams.
The eight existing teams – Adelaide United, Brisbane (formerly Queensland) Roar, Central Coast Mariners, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets, Perth Glory, Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix – have done a magnificent job in lifting the profile of the game in the past four years.
But the next couple of years will certainly put Australian football firmly in the minds of sports fans and that-s not just in this country, but across the world.
