Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix: match preview

Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix are both desperate for the three points when they face-off at AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon.

Victory have managed just one win from fur games so far in 2019/20 and will be stinging after throwing away a two-goal lead against Western United FC last time out.

But Phoenix have been unable to turn positive performances into wins – or points – with Ufuk Talay’s side losing all four games so far this campaign.

And while they drew twice against Victory at AAMI Park last season, the Kiwi club have only won twice against the Big V in Melbourne from 20 attempts.
