Melbourne City star and CommBank Matildas forward Holly McNamara has claimed the 2024-25 Ninja A-League Golden Boot.
McNamara claimed her maiden A-Leagues goalscoring honour thanks to 15 goals in just 17 matches as City captured back-to-back Premierships amid an unbeaten season through 23 home-and-away games.

The 22-year-old scored every 57.9 minutes to pip Melbourne Victory’s Emily Gielnik and Brisbane Roar captain Tameka Yallop (both 12 goals) to the Golden Boot after finding the back of the net in Friday night’s 5-1 rout of Perth Glory.

It capped an incredible season and comeback for McNamara, who missed the opening five games of the season after recovering from a third anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
