Melbourne City confirm five player departures including Socceroo & three overseas recruits

Melbourne City have confirmed five players have departed the club at the conclusion of their respective contracts at the Isuzu UTE A-League club.

Midfielder Terry Antonis calls time on his stint at City after just one season; Antonis made 22 league appearances and scored a catalogue of sensational goals including a half-way strike against Western Sydney Wanderers that will contend for Goal of the Season honours.

City academy product Jordon Hall is also departing the club after winning two Premierships in three seasons, making 10 league appearances.

Chilean full-back Vicente Fernandez joined City in January but will not extend his stay at the club after the expiration of his short-term contract. City also confirmed loanees Marin Jakolis (34 appearances, three goals) and Leo Natel (29 appearances, six goals) will return to their respective parent clubs after one-year loan deals.
