The 23-year-old and twin sister of Sharn, who will join Wolfsburg at the end of the season, has scored seven goals and supplied two assists in her first 10 games – a tally which has seen Freier selected for this month’s SheBelieves Cup in the United States.

“It has been really special playing with my sister at this level and being able to play for my hometown in front of my family and friends,” said Freier, who became the first player in Ninja A-League history to score back-to-back hat-tricks earlier this season.
“I have obviously been playing in the NPL for a long time and to be able to play in the A-League is something that I have always wanted to do.
“I’m grateful for the bunch of girls that I have been playing with and to be able to learn from the experienced girls. I look forward to being at Roar for another couple of seasons.”
